The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.
SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access sassa status check SASSA services.
“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
